Are you an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to take the next step in your career with a reputable house builder delivering high-quality residential developments?
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team on an exciting residential project in Chertsey, Surrey
. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a well-planned development and gain exposure to all aspects of site management while working alongside an experienced Site Manager.
As Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the management of subcontractors and trades on site
- Monitoring health and safety compliance across the development
- Supporting quality inspections and ensuring work is completed to specification
- Helping drive build programmes and achieve key project milestones
- Managing snagging and plot completions
- Assisting with customer care and handover processes
- Maintaining site records and reporting progress to the Site Manager
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential construction
- Timber frame construction experience is essential
- Strong understanding of NHBC standards and build quality
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid and CSCS Card preferred
- A proactive attitude and desire to progress within a successful business
