Description

Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts to aid strategic planning.
Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial data.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
Ensure timely submission of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

A recognised accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA) or equivalent.
Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial standards.
Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
