Support Worker – Residential Care
Alton, Hampshire and surrounding areas | £12.21 – £13.50 per hour | Days and Nights available
A respected residential care provider is currently seeking experienced Support Workers and Care Assistants to join their care team in the Alton, Hampshire area.
This service supports adults in a residential care setting and is focused on delivering compassionate, person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing. Due to increased staffing needs, the service is looking for reliable and experienced care professionals who are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities

• Assist with personal care where required

• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing

• Provide emotional support and companionship

• Work collaboratively with the wider care team

• Follow care plans and support individual needs

• Maintain accurate care notes and documentation

• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents
Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant

• Experience working in residential care or similar care settings

• Comfortable supporting individuals with personal care where required

• Able to work days and nights

• Good communication skills and a compassionate approach

• Reliable, professional and committed to high standards of care

• Relevant training within the care sector

• Drivers are desirable due to the location of services in Alton and surrounding areas

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

• Right to work in the UK
