Kone are recruiting a Senior Escalator Technician to join our Heathrow team. This is a Grade 6, technical troubleshooter role for an experienced escalator professional who can diagnose complex faults, support engineers on site, and ensure safe and reliable operation in a high-profile airport environment.
Key Responsibilities- Advanced fault finding and troubleshooting on escalators
- Technical support to field engineers and service teams
- Major repairs, adjustments, and reliability improvements
- Ensure compliance with KONE safety standards and Heathrow procedures
- Accurate reporting using KONE digital systems
- Support and mentor junior engineers
- NVQ Level 4 in Escalator Engineering – essential
- Strong escalator technical and electrical knowledge
- Proven experience in complex diagnostics
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence & ability to obtain Heathrow clearance
- Bonus 6.67% (max 13.34%)
