Quality Controller - Nights Newcastle-under-Lyme £15.53 per hour Monday to Friday | 21:30 - 06:30

The Role As a Night Shift Quality Controller, you'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and compliance throughout production operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out food safety, quality, compliance, and due diligence checks. Completing start-up inspections, temperature monitoring, metal detection, X-ray, and label verification checks. Auditing quality systems and food safety standards throughout production. Reviewing production paperwork and traceability records. Managing non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are completed. Monitoring GMP, hygiene, and factory standards. Verifying product specifications, labelling, and packaging compliance. Supporting food safety and quality training across production teams.
Working closely with Production and Technical teams to resolve quality issues. Assisting with customer, retailer, and third-party audits. What We're Looking For Food Safety Level 2 qualification.
Experience with in a QA, QC, or food manufacturing quality role. Good understanding of HACCP and food safety legislation. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability. Good communication and IT skills. Ability to work independently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
