Quality Controller - Days Newcastle-under-Lyme £13.57 per hour Monday to Friday | 07:00 - 16:00

What You'll Be Doing As a Quality Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest standards of food safety, legality, and customer specification.
Key duties include:
Carrying out food safety, quality, due diligence, and legal compliance checks. Completing start-up, temperature, metal detection, X-ray, and label verification checks. Monitoring product weights, sizes, and specifications throughout production. Verifying recipe accuracy and ingredient measurements. Conducting temperature checks across production and storage areas. Maintaining accurate quality records and documentation. Investigating non-conformances and implementing corrective actions. Ensuring GMP and hygiene standards are consistently achieved.
Supporting customer audits, site visits, and traceability exercises. Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across the site. What We're Looking For Food Safety Level 2 qualification. Previous experience within Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or food manufacturing. Knowledge of HACCP and food safety principles. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and organisational skills. Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills. A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
