Class 1; C+E) HGV Driver – TV & Film Industry

Location: Chertsey, Surrey
Pay: £18.50 p.h /10-hour day, with overtime available

Our Client in Chertsey is looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join their specialist operation supporting the UK’s television and film industry
.

This is an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes on major TV productions, feature films and live events, transporting specialist trailers, equipment and production facilities across the UK.

• Safely drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles carrying sensitive and valuable equipment.
• Deliver, position and collect specialist production trailers and vehicles.
• Work closely with production crews to ensure deliveries and collections are completed on time.
• Assist base staff with setting up equipment on set.
• Carry out vehicle checks and complete relevant transport documentation.
• Follow Drivers’ Hours, DVSA and Health & Safety requirements.
• Work as part of a professional and supportive team.
• The role involves minimal tramping
  , with fixed start and finish locations.
• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC/DQC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience
  .
• Maximum 6 penalty points with no DR, DD or IN endorsements.
• Professional, reliable and positive attitude.
• Punctual and customer-focused.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including late afternoon/evening starts and weekends.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Previous TV or film industry experience is not essential – full training will be provided.
