Excellent Customer service with internal customer is expected.
The majority of work this person will be doing will set the pace for the other employees in the department. Speed and accuracy are expected. The role primarily involves opening mail, removing any barriers such as staples, and preparing the mail for the next step in the process of scanning.
Requirements:
Must possess the ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time as required. Attention to detail is a must, as well as the ability to complete assigned and repetitive tasks. Candidate needs to be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work overtime with little to no notice as well as occasional weekends, and must have reliable transportation.
Schedule:
Employee will be working the same schedule as the other employees in the department. Additional overtime hours may be needed with little to no notice depending on the workflow.
- Open mail, remove barriers such as staples and clips, and stack correspondence as described by the supervisor.
- Assist in mail room sorting and delivery of mail throughout the department.
- Keep hourly tracking of completed work and submit daily tracking sheets to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate time card reporting to the agency before the beginning of each shift on Monday mornings.
- Maintain an efficient work atmosphere and avoid distracting other employees.
- Assist wherever the supervisor requires and fulfill their requests.
- Be respectful and polite to all personnel and clients while in the building.
Employee is expected to assist wherever the supervisor requires them and to do what the Supervisor requests of them.
