Locum General Dentist

Position Overview

Zeal Med Staffing is seeking a General Dentist for a locum opportunity with an established pediatric-focused dental practice in Chesapeake, Virginia . This is a great opportunity for a dentist who enjoys working with children and is looking for a consistent 3–4 day per week schedule , competitive daily compensation, and weekly pay.

Pediatric experience is welcomed but not required — General Dentists who are comfortable treating children are encouraged to apply.

Practice & Schedule

• Schedule: 3–4 days per week

• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Practice: Established, busy pediatric-focused practice

• Current Doctors: 2 Dentists

• Operatories: 6

• Support: Dental Assistants and Front Office Staff

• Patient Volume: Approximately 50–60 patients per day across the practice

• Patient Base: Pediatrics

• Procedures: Preventive and restorative dentistry

• Payor Mix: Medicaid, PPO, and Fee-for-Service

Requirements

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program

• Active Virginia dental license

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
