Employed Optometrist - Chesapeake, VA

National Eyecare Associates located next to Target Optical (Chesapeake, VA 23320) is looking for an independent Doctor of Optometry to join our team as an Associate Optometrist. This role is part of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist practice. You will work within the practice as an employee or contracted doctor.

Salary: based on experience.

Schedule:

Location:

006730 Target Optical (Bishop), Chesapeake, VA.

• Provide high‑quality optometric care and service to patients.
• Operate independently in a fully furnished office with full scope of practice.
• Collaborate with the Subleasing Doctor to coordinate patient care.
• Use provided EHR software and pre‑testing support when available.
• Maintain automated online appointment booking and patient recall system.

• Professional autonomy with no company‑imposed restrictions or quotas.
• Flexible scheduling, including part‑time commitments.
• Full suite of OD equipment in a furnished office.

• Doctor of Optometry degree and current license in VA.
• Experience in private practice preferred.
