Job Title: Civil Designer

Pay Rate: $38 - $50/hour

Experience Level: 7-12 years

Job Description:

We are seeking a Roadway & Infrastructure Designer to join our team and support a variety of transportation and utility infrastructure projects. This role will primarily focus on roadway and heavy utility work at ports, rather than traditional site design. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in civil engineering design and experience working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Micro Station.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop plans for roadway and infrastructure projects with a focus on heavy road and utility work.
  • Plan and design new water mains and sewer systems.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Micro Station to produce and modify design drawings.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and project specifications.
  • Assist in the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and construction teams, to ensure seamless project execution.

    • Qualifications:

  • 7-12 years of experience in roadway and infrastructure design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (primary), Civil 3D, and/or Micro Station.
  • Strong understanding of utility infrastructure, including water mains and sewer system designs.
  • Experience in transportation, ports, and heavy road construction projects is a plus.
