Customer Service Rep
Overview The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. The role requires acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers, demonstrating products professionally, and maintaining a professional appearance.
Pay Rate $18.00 / hour.
Responsibilities
- Possess the aptitude to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, knives).
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company systems, use Outlook, and view documents (Word & PDF).
Qualifications
- Education / Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience/training preferred.
- Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. - Certificates, Licenses: Local food‑handlers permit may be required.
- Physical Demands: Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), pushing/pulling a wheeled cart, using appliances, and contact with cleaning supplies.
- Scheduling: Work limited to about 25 hours per week; the company retains discretion to change hours based on business needs.
- Language: English is primary; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
Physical Appearance The Associate must present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance. Specific retailer dress‑code requirements are included in training documents.
