Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and GE scanner proficiency.

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
• VA or compact license required at time of consideration, if applicable
• GE scanner experience required
• Must have no prior license or background check issues
• Must be able to pass fit testing (PAPR accommodation not available)
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Adult acute care and outpatient MRI imaging setting
• Performs imaging of abdomen, pelvis, chest, breast, head, neck, brain, face/soft tissue, and spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic)
• Utilizes GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS equipment
• Performs special imaging procedures including diffusion, gradient echo imaging, perfusion, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, Friday-Sunday 8:00 PM-8:00 AM
• Rotating on-call requirements
• Located in Coastal Virginia near Virginia Beach and Norfolk, offering access to trails and waterways
• 3 hours of billable orientation modules required prior to start date
• RTO requests must be submitted with application and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will still be considered for this allied health position
