Perfusionist - Chesapeake, VA

Strata Critical Recovery (formerly Keystone Perfusion) is seeking an experienced perfusionist to join our collaborative cardiac team at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. Location: In-Person at the Chesapeake Regional Medical Center - Chesapeake, VA
Compensation:$175,000 - $215,000 depending on experience + $10,000 sign-on bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Days + On-Call Rotation

Your Role Includes:

• Performing cardiopulmonary bypass and autotransfusion
• Managing IABP and minimal ECMO support
• Collaborating with anesthesia, surgery, and nursing teams
• Upholding best practices in equipment safety, infection control, and patient care
• Assisting with quality control and departmental development

We average ~120 open heart procedures annually, including CABG and valve surgeries, with no VADs or transplants.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion program
• BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
