We are seeking a Business Strategy Analyst to play a key role in analyzing and improving business processes in their specialty and/or assigned capability domain. This role works closely and collaborates with project managers, technology and support teams, business, as well as external stakeholders to analyze business requirements and produce deliverables related to their capability during internal implementations and roll outs.

This role will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing strategic insights to drive decision-making and ensure alignment between IT initiatives and business goals.

• Strategic Planning & Analysis
• Support the development and execution of IT strategic plans and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze internal and external data to identify strategic opportunities, risks, and performance gaps.
• Conduct market and industry research to benchmark IT performance and innovation trends.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
• Maintain and promote a positive rapport with the user community.
• Negotiates with or influences division/department teams to facilitate analytic success (thorough and accurate, quantitative and qualitative validation to base as-is & to-be)
• Experience with testing and mapping various business processes.
• Strong software configuration knowledge and experience
• Develops Self and Others
• Promotes team building and skills development of team members.
• Cross-coordinates feedback and learning among all Business Analysts
• Participates in Community of Practice activities for professional development.
• Qualifications:
• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of related experience, within retail (at a retailer or software company)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Clarity).
• Familiarity with governance, compliance, and risk management practices in IT.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with strategic planning processes in an IT context.
• 5+ years’ experience with enhancing and implementing ERP systems using various technologies:
• Master Data Management
• Planning, Pricing, Promotions
• Purchase Order Management
• Invoice Matching
