ESN is seeking a Quality Control Specialist III (Automated Tester) to support a contract with Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic, in Norfolk, VA. The contract supports Independent Validation & Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation support, and includes automated software testing, Scrum Master support, operating in the AWS Cloud, JIRA/Confluence management, Cyber compliance, and project support.
Location:
Chesapeake, VA (On‑site).
High School diploma/GED related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate.
Required CertificationSecurity+.
Experience- 5 years professional experience solving technical problems.
- Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance.
- Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts.
- Experience ensuring that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards.
- Three years of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs, possibly including database maintenance within an application area.
- Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notable experience with modern software development methodologies (e.g., agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS).
- Three years' experience in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) software testing.
- Three years' experience in developing automated software tests.
- Two years' experience in an agile software development process.
Must hold an active Department of Defense SECRET clearance.
Salary$90 000 – $110 000 per year.
