As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data systems and pipelines that support advanced AI/ML applications within a Navy IT command. You will collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, and other technical teams to ensure the efficient and scalable processing of large volumes of data. This role will involve leveraging best practices in data engineering to create robust, high-performance data architectures, enabling the effective deployment of machine learning models and supporting mission-critical defense operations.

You will also be involved in maintaining data quality, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and streamlining data workflows to meet the needs of the client's IT systems.

• 10+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

Schedule:

Hybrid 3-4 days a week onsite

Salary: 125k+ to align with education and experience
