Chesapeake Regional Healthcare is excited to announce the opening of our new OPEN-HEART program coming 2024! Over the years we have earned numerous accolades and accreditations for our existing interventional cardiology program, and, by expanding our current cardiac offerings, we will be able to provide a smart choice for life saving services to the communities of southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, compassionate, clinically effective patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other care team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Education:

A minimum of an Associates degree in Nursing is required, BSN preferred

Experience:

A minimum of 1 year cardiothoracic (CT) ICU experience is required

Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Virginia or compact state. Must obtain BLS in 90 days and ACLS Certification within 120 days. Certification in a related specialty field preferred.
