• Full-time, nights, 4 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients, including post-neurosurgical, stroke, trauma, and other critical conditions.
• Monitor and manage ventilators, IV drip titrations, and telemetry.
• Administer conscious sedation and respond to emergencies such as dysrhythmias, respiratory failure, renal failure, and sepsis.
• Float to stepdown units and other departments as needed, including ED and med-surg units.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety protocols and documentation standards using EPIC electronic health records.
• Maintain proficiency in required certifications and participate in pre-start modules as necessary.

• Valid VA or compact nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
• Strong neuro experience, including post-neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS certification.
• Current VA driver’s license for address verification.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float as required.

• Minimum of 3 years ICU experience, with 1+ years in neuro ICU preferred.
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred.
• EPIC electronic health record proficiency.
• Experience with PAPR fit testing (no prior issues).

$2856 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend. IDEAL JOB  :
