BLS, NRP, ACLS ( preferred) Must-Have:
Previous charge experience
Experience with a patient ratio of 4:1 Familiarity with Epic charting system Ability to float within skill set including NICU experience
Description:
Provide postpartum and antepartum care to patients. Float within the necessary skill set, including care for level II nursery patients. Ensure adherence to baby-friendly protocols and rooming-in practices. Administer medications and perform assessments, including fundus and lochia care. Educate parents on breastfeeding, circumcision care, and discharge procedures. Manage staff coordination and patient care for a daily census of 15-30. Engage in interdisciplinary support with various healthcare teams.
Participate in special procedures such as circumcision and newborn assessments. Utilize equipment for administering medications and performing tests. Maintain compliance with all patient safety protocols and standards of care.
