This is a hybrid position located in Chesapeake, VA.

The Quality Assurance (QA) position is responsible for ensuring work is performed in accordance with applicable contract requirements, technical specifications, drawings, procedures, and company quality standards. The QA employee will monitor and document work activities, perform inspections, identify and report deficiencies, and support corrective actions to ensure quality requirements are consistently met.

The position will work closely with project management, supervisors, technicians, welders to maintain compliance, resolve quality issues, and ensure required documentation and records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.

Salary: $40.00 - $50.00/Hr

Job Duties:

• Perform inspections of work, materials, equipment, and completed installations to ensure compliance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, procedures, and applicable standards.
• Review work packages, drawings, specifications, procedures, and other technical documentation for quality requirements.
• Verify that personnel are performing work in accordance with approved procedures and customer requirements.
• Solve technical problems.
• Identify, document, and report quality deficiencies, non-conformances, and deviations.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, quality documentation, checklists, and reports.
• Review and verify required documentation, certifications, test results, and inspection records for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure measuring and test equipment is properly calibrated and maintained as required.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions when quality issues occur.
• Participate in internal and external audits and assist with responding to audit findings.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by management
