Lead ultrasonic inspections on specialized railway track maintenance machines. Set up, calibrate, and operate ultrasonic testing equipment; interpret results and document findings to support safe, reliable rail operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and configure ultrasonic testing systems for rail machine inspections
- Perform calibration and ensure equipment is operating within required standards
- Conduct ultrasonic inspections and analyze test data for defects or anomalies
- Record, document, and communicate inspection results and outcomes
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and service teams to meet safety and quality requirements
- Follow strict safety procedures and quality standards during all field activities
- Proficiency in ultrasonic testing operations, setup, calibration, and result interpretation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make quality-focused decisions
- Effective documentation and clear communication of inspection findings
- Ability to work safely in field environments and coordinate with cross-functional teams
