Job Duties
  • Responsible for maximizing the sale of dock and door equipment, parts, and services within a specified territory to meet sales objectives.
  • Develop existing accounts and seek new business. Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships.
  • Consult and problem‑solve to enhance the company’s position in existing and target accounts.
  • Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers.
  • Develop sales strategies, proposals, forecasts, and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
  • Prepare quotations and customer correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information using online resources and discuss sales activities with the Sales Manager.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills, including travel to the Northern Kentucky branch.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Less than 2 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving capabilities, sense of responsibility, self‑motivation, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Authorization
