As we continue to grow, we are seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our customer base and promote the full capabilities of the Givens network.
Position Overview: The Outside Sales Representative will focus on developing new truck brokerage business while leveraging Givens’ OTR fleet, drayage services, and warehousing assets. This role is ideal for a self‑motivated logistics professional who excels in building relationships, meeting face‑to‑face with customers, and creating customized transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, identify, and secure new shipper accounts within an assigned territory.
- Conduct on‑site customer visits and present tailored logistics solutions.
- Promote a complete range of services, including brokerage, OTR trucking, drayage, and warehousing.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline through strategic outreach and CRM tools.
- Collaborate with internal sales & operations teams to develop pricing, bids, and service proposals.
- Provide ongoing account management to ensure long‑term customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of outside sales experience in freight brokerage, trucking, logistics, or related fields (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of truckload, drayage, warehousing, and general logistics operations.
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly self‑motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to travel within the territory as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
