Role

Wise Snacks is seeking a Route Sales Representative. The primary purpose of this role is to represent the company in the field, selling and delivering products. Duties include ensuring customers receive high‑quality service, meeting deadlines and timely deliveries, and driving sales and profits.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the use of space to increase sales.
• Seek and secure all opportunities for incremental sales.
• Show the proper use of POS to drive sales.
• Ensure servicing the stores to eliminate out of stock conditions.
• Meet all sales goals and generate new leads to solicit new business and grow the client base.
• Manage inventory and place orders.
• Load, unload, and drive products to their appropriate destinations.
• Service stores.
• Grow routes to create new routes and increase service and sales.
• Use discounts intelligently and tactically to maximize sales.
• Set up and manage a route to reduce costs: time management and educating on good business practices.

Minimum Qualified Candidates

• 2 years in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) sales experience.
• 1 year managerial experience (e.g., merchandisers).
• Good numerical skills.
• Prior supermarket sales experience.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to get in and out of the vehicle on a regular basis.

Ideal Candidates

• Prior food or salty snack industry experience.
• +3 years managerial experience.
• +5 years customer service industry experience.
• +5 years experience with the supermarket channel.
