Inside Sales Representative – Industrial Plastic Distribution

Founded decades ago and based in Virginia Beach, we are a leading distributor of high‑performance plastic materials serving industrial, manufacturing, and commercial markets across the Mid‑Atlantic region. Our team‑oriented culture emphasizes collaboration between inside sales, outside sales, warehouse, and operations to deliver reliable solutions.

Base Pay Range

$57,000.00 / yr – $75,000.00 / yr

Qualifications – Needed
  • Background in plastics, industrial distribution, or manufacturing sales
  • Minimum 1+ year of commercial, sales, or customer‑facing experience
  • Experience supporting B2B customers in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate, problem‑solve, and build rapport with customers
  • Competent computer skills and comfort working with order systems
  • High level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism
  • Background in plastics, industrial distribution, or manufacturing sales experience strongly valued
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Generate accurate quotes and process customer orders efficiently
  • Conduct outbound calls to identify opportunities and decision‑makers
  • Follow up post‑order to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Provide product, pricing, and service information to customers
  • Coordinate with warehouse, office, and outside sales teams
  • Assist with inventory planning based on customer demand
  • Support overall sales growth and market expansion initiatives
