Position OverviewCoastal Precast Systems is seeking a Diesel mechanic heavy equipment, with some experience to join our team This position offers hands-on opportunities in a fast-paced industrial setting.
You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in handling tools, have knowledge of Diesel and gas engines, this role requires a positive attitude, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) services on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Utilize diesel mechanic background to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines and other components.
- Demonstrate knowledge in conducting inspections and making necessary adjustments to maintain compliance and safety standards.
- Knowledge and experience with hydraulics are a plus, as you may be required to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
- Be prepared to work occasional Saturdays and Sundays as required.
- Work a flexible schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM daily, although hours may vary depending on the workload and specific job requirements.
- Adapt to working in diverse climates, including both hot and cold conditions, while maintaining productivity and safety.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, being a reliable team player in achieving departmental goals.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to take on individual tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications- Experience 12volt and 24-volt gas and dieselare strongly preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge with at least some hands-on experience
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Reliable and safety-conscious
- Able to teach or training the team.
- Able to work from heights.
- Pay is based on experience
