This is a full-time position

The primary duties of an HVAC installer include installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities include installing new systems, diagnosing and repairing existing ones, and ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. All installations must comply with City and State codes
.
- Install new HVAC systems according to specifications, including ductwork, vents, and air distribution components.
- Interpret system layouts, measurements, and schematics for correct installation.
- Connect electrical and gas lines safely and securely; must be trained in brazing.
- Check airflow, refrigerant levels, and for leaks; calibrate thermostats and control systems.
- Repair or replace worn or defective parts.
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent malfunctions and optimize system performance.
- Follow all local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Explain system operation and maintenance to customers.
- Provide troubleshooting advice and answer customer questions.
- Demonstrate pride in work and excellent customer service skills.
- Stay informed about industry advancements, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
