Construction Material Testing in Chesapeake, VA seeks a Certified Welding Inspector II to lead visual weld inspections, sign off on code compliance, and direct NDT as needed. Requirements: AWS CWI with 2+ years' inspecting experience; working knowledge of AWS D1.1 and at least one of D1.5, D1.8, ASME IX, or API 1104; ICC structural steel/bolting preferred.
Pay ranges from $38 to $52 per hour, with early starts and overtime on heavy steel projects; travel to fabrication shops and erection sites
