Youth Services Accountability Coordinator

The Hampton Roads Community Action Program serves more than 7,000 individuals or 10,000households annually through its 23+ programs and services. As the Youth Services Accountability Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of youth in Hampton Roads by ensuring that programs are impactful, accountable, and aligned with the community needs. Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND DESIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, youth development, or a related field(Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in youth coordination or a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience in program evaluation, accountability, and reporting.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the Hampton Roads Community Action Program.
  • Experience with data collection and analysis for program evaluation.
  • Knowledge of community resources and youth development best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Culturally competent and able to work with youth from diverse backgrounds.
  • Criminal record check and fingerprints, negative Tuberculin Tine screening test or a valid chest X-ray within 10 working days of conditional offer, and driving record required for employment

Hampton Roads Community Action Program (HRCAP) offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, effective the first day of the month following your hire date. Benefits include:

o 10 days of annual leave per year (accruedbi-weekly) for the first five years

o Sick leave accrued at 5 hours per pay period

o 1 paid day off annually for your birthday

o Medical, dental, and vision insurance available for employees and dependents

o HRCAP covers 75% of health insurance premiums

o Coverage begins the first of the month afterhire

o Pre-tax premium deductions via Section 125 Plan

o 401(k) retirement plan with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 3% after one year of service
