• Assist with routine and high-value buying/purchasing tasks involving materials, suppliers, or services.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and review purchase requisitions.
• Place orders with approved suppliers and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Research parts and materials using websites.
• Understand logistics and purchasing processes.
• Inspect and receive materials and equipment.
• Prepare materials for shipment and storage.
• Track material orders and shipments.
• Use computerized inventory systems effectively.
• Handle hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
• Document material inventory using MS Word and MS Excel.
• Assist with invoice verification and vendor pricing records.

Experience: 2 years of material tracking and logistics knowledge.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information. A DoD clearance may be required. A valid driver’s license is also necessary.

• Lift at least 100 pounds at once and 60 pounds for extended periods.
• Relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
• Work at heights up to 60 feet, climbing and balancing on scaffolds, lifts, and ladders.
• Perform physical activities such as walking, climbing, lifting, and reaching overhead.
• Possess good vision and hearing, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Recognize potential problems without solving them.
• Apply general rules to specific problems and draw conclusions from information.
