Holiday Club Sports Coach

Join LMP Group as a Holiday Club Sports Coach at Chesham Leisure Centre during the school holidays. We’re looking for an individual to deliver sports activities as part of our Fun Week programme. The role involves delivering a variety of sports games to a high standard, catering for all children of mixed ability, aged 5 to 12 years.

• Has a keen interest and passion for working with primary‑aged children.
• Has experience working at children’s holiday camps and/or in a childcare setting.
• Demonstrates willingness to develop skills and general practice.
• Punctual, reliable and committed.
• Has experience delivering activities to primary‑aged children.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to interact well with staff, parents/carers and children.

• Clean UK driver’s license.
• Experience and/or willingness to deliver additional activities during Fun Week, such as Arts & Crafts or Multi‑Sports.
• Completed appropriate courses at Sixth Form, College or University.

• Manage and motivate the team to deliver the programme to a high standard.
• Liaise with parents/carers, staff and directors on a regular basis.
• Ensure sessions are challenging, realistic and fun for primary‑aged children.
• Create a positive learning environment for the children in our care.
• Deliver the coaching programme consistently at a high standard.
• Follow our coaching philosophy:
  Fun, inclusive and educational.
• Understand the needs of staff and children and challenge/engage them appropriately.
• Deal with any first‑aid/emergency situation.
• Be approachable when liaising with parents/carers.
• Commit to ensuring every session is delivered to the best of your ability.
• Be creative and passionate in your delivery.
