Preceptorship and Professional Development Educator; PH

The post holder will be an integral member of the Clinical Education and Development Team, dedicated to supporting the development, progression, and retention of registered healthcare professionals across the Trust, including those within Nursing and Allied Health Professions. The role focuses on enhancing staff knowledge, skills, competence, and confidence to ensure a skilled, diverse workforce capable of delivering high quality, compassionate, person-centred care.

They will contribute to the coordination, delivery, and evaluation of a range of training and development programmes--most notably the Trust's Preceptorship programme--working closely with the Senior Preceptorship and Professional Development Educator. Education will be delivered across a variety of settings, including face to face, hybrid, online, and clinical practice environments.

The post holder will utilise a range of teaching and supportive approaches such as coaching, mentoring, and guided learning, and will support the assessment of learning and clinical competence in practice. Working flexibly across Trust sites, they will provide clinical expertise to a variety of projects, promote best practice, and help to create a positive, effective learning environment for all staff.
