Preceptorship and Professional Development Educator; AHP

The post holder will be a key member of the Clinical Education and Development Team, supporting the development, progression, and retention of registered healthcare professionals across the Trust, including those within Nursing and Allied Health Professions. The role focuses on strengthening staff knowledge, skills, competence, and confidence to ensure the delivery of high quality, compassionate, person-centred care.

Working across classroom, hybrid, online, and clinical practice environments, the post holder will contribute to the coordination, delivery, and evaluation of a range of education and development programmes, including the Trust's Preceptorship programme. They will utilise a variety of teaching and supportive approaches--such as coaching, mentoring, and guided learning--to enhance clinical capability and promote best practice.

The role involves providing flexible educational support across Trust sites, offering clinical expertise to projects, and helping to create a positive, effective learning environment for all staff. Through this work, the post holder will play an essential part in building a skilled, confident, and well supported workforce.
