Are you a qualified Science Teacher with a specialist in Chemistry and Physics looking to work with a secondary school in the Chesham area, Buckinghamshire?

Academics Ltd are working with a brilliant school in Buckinghamshire who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher with a chemistry and physics specialism to join their team from September
2026 on a permanent full-time basis. We are looking to appoint a fully qualified teacher (with QTS) who is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.

This is also a great opportunity for ECT's looking for their first teaching role.

Salary:
Pay to Scale M1-UPS3 - £31,650 - £49,084

Contract Type:
Full-time, Permanent

The school are looking for a teacher who:

  • Is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management
  • Can plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students of all abilities
  • Is interested in the science of learning and is committed to continuous improvement
  • Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to the team, has clear vision, energy and commitment to all aspects of school life
  • Has a desire and passion to make a real difference to the lives and life-chances of our students
Chemistry Teacher Requirements:
  • Degree in Science or a related field
  • Relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS
  • Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and teaching techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
