This team acts as gatekeepers between engineering & operations ensuring designs are production-ready with documentation, processes, and equipment. The majority of the time you will provide production support, NPD and process improvement with 40% focused on test equipment and test process development.
Essential Requirements of the Production / Process Engineer role- Hands-on engineering background within mechatronics, electronics, mechanical, electrical engineering.
- Experience in either a production or test engineering environment.
- Experience troubleshooting production or test processes using RCA/Root Cause Analysis methods (5 Whys, Fishbone, Ishikawa, 8D, FMEA, PFMEA, FTA, Cause and effect analysis, DMAIC).
- Experience with process validation, CI and process development.
- Experience creating or maintaining technical documentation such as SOPs, work instructions & process records.
- Electronics and PCB fault finding
- Experience with scripting / programming in Python
