Join Uprise Up, an award‑winning digital agency that supports charities and socially‑positive organisations, to work as an SEO Analyst.

We are seeking a talented SEO Analyst with strong content‑writing skills and the ability to analyse website data to help our charity clients achieve growth and visibility online.

Reporting into the SEO Manager, you will develop and implement SEO strategies across some of the UK’s largest and most well‑known charities. You should have an inquisitive, problem‑solving mindset, good technical skills, a strong understanding of data, and a hunger to make the world a better place.

• Work with clients to clarify priorities and objectives.
• Conduct opportunity and competitor analysis.
• Build strategies and roadmaps that reflect each client’s goals.

• Deliver organic content strategies based on keyword research.
• Build content calendars and time releases strategically.
• Optimise on‑page content and add new content when necessary.

• Analyse backlink portfolios and identify the most effective prospects.
• Find opportunities for guest posting, link collaboration, and newsworthy coverage.
• Develop and pitch Digital PR strategies to publications.

• Review websites to flag improvement opportunities.
• Identify technical quick wins to boost site performance.
• Use industry‑leading tools such as Screaming Frog and Ahrefs.
• Support clients’ developers with on‑site optimisations.

• Analyse and deliver monthly client SEO performance reports.
• Identify key performance trends and benchmark against goals.
• Use Google Analytics and Search Console to spot changes and flag issues.
• Communicate with clients via email, phone, video or in‑person and keep data transparent.

• Strong passion for SEO with demonstrable experience.
• Excellent writing skills for informative, engaging web copy.
• Experience managing multiple clients, projects and deadlines.
• Ability to understand client goals and keep them front‑of‑mind.
• Technically minded and able to solve complex problems.
• Proficiency with leading SEO tools.
• Collaborative with other departments, including Paid Media.
• Adaptable and versatile.
• Experience in an agency and/or with not‑for‑profit organisations/charities is preferred.

• Permanent role, 9 am – 5:30 pm Mon‑Fri with flexible core hours.
• Salary £30,000 – £35,000 per annum.
• 35 days holiday per annum (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing to 38 after 2 years.
• Hybrid working with optional 2 days remote per week.
