Summary: The Tax Accountant assists with all aspects of tax compliance including the preparation of property, sales/use, information, excise and federal, state and local income tax returns. The Tax Accountant also assists with providing tax support and guidance to field operations and other corporate office departments.

• Assist with the preparation of property, sales/use, information and excise tax returns
• Assist with the preparation of federal, state and local corporate income tax filings
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual federal, state and foreign tax provisions
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly federal, state and local estimated tax payments
• Assist with providing estimating teams with tax information for bids – sales and use, property, miscellaneous
• Assist with researching and responding to tax questions from field operations and corporate office personnel
• Assist with the day‑day administration of sales/use, property and excise tax audits
• Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related
• 3 years experience in multi-state corporate tax
• Experience with One Source tax compliance software helpful
• Knowledge of JDE 9.0 and Insight a plus
• Proficiency with Excel and Word
• Solid accounting and analytical skills
• Well‑organized, accurate and detail‑oriented
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
