A reputable and well-established organization in Cheshire, CT is looking to add a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to their growing finance team. This temporary-to-permanent role is ideal for a professional who excels in a dynamic setting and has attention to detail and accuracy. salary: $28 - $30 per hour

- Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- Process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding items
- Maintain vendor records and ensure documentation is up to date
- Assist with month-end close activities, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Support internal and external audit requests as needed
