Job SummaryCMU Supply is seeking a highly organized and customer‑focused Customer Service & Fulfillment Associate to join our team. This hybrid role combines exceptional customer service with hands‑on fulfillment responsibilities. You’ll be the primary point of contact for customers needing shipping updates, product information, or general support, while also assisting with order preparation, inventory, and warehouse operations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment, enjoys helping customers, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced, small team setting.
Responsibilities- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, text, and online chat
- Handle questions about shipping, order status, and product availability
- Communicate important customer updates and information to the internal team
- Assist with daily fulfillment tasks, including gathering products, packaging, and shipping
- Retrieve products from inside the store and the yard, even in cold weather when necessary
- Count inventory, organize warehouse stock, and assist with general warehouse operations
- Operate pallet jacks, assist with team lifts, and forklift operation (training available)
- Prepare quotes and support order entry as needed
- Collaborate with a small team, remain flexible with shifting priorities, and ensure accurate order processing
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall customer experience and fulfillment operations
- 1‑3 years of customer service and fulfillment experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑first mindset
- Skilled in utilizing multiple communication channels, including phone, text, and online chat, and experienced with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Able to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds, work in a warehouse environment, and perform team lifts
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
