Job SummaryThe Banking Associate is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The role delivers end‑to‑end customer advice, engages with customers via TD’s systems, and deepens relationships through lead management and outreach activities.
Responsibilities- Process customer transactions, open new accounts, and educate customers on all banking products and services.
- Deliver consultative support: build trust with educational content & tools, provide advisory support, and advocate insights & recommendations.
- Utilize TD's systems to engage with customers, deepen relationships, and attract and retain customers.
- Identify financial needs and recommend products, services, or partner referrals while ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Accurately complete everyday banking transactions on teller line or platform, including regulating transactions, mobile and online banking.
- Manage customer interactions through lead management: self‑generated leads, partner referrals, outbound calls, SMS, appointments, and lead prioritization.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (volunteer, education, military, or other).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Preferred:
Teller experience, notary license. - Must complete Teller training and platform training upon hire.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Provide legendary customer service during transactions and promotion of TD products.
- Build and nurture relationships with knowledge and listening to customer needs.
- Manage walk‑in traffic and represent first point of contact for client inquiries.
- Maintain compliance with policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
