Role Overview: As a key member of the Financial Controls, Planning and Analysis team, this role will oversee the overall Government Compliance requirements. The position will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all Government Compliance activities for the site.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and assist with the completion of UTAS Business Systems compliance reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Conduct site risk assessments and self-assessments to ensure controls are adequate and compliance with Government initiatives.
  • Participate in remediation and corrective action planning for any control deficiencies identified.
  • Ensure the site understands and complies with Government Reporting / DCAA requirements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Site Leadership and DCAA / DCMA.
  • Maintain the site Disclosure Statement and advise senior management on financial implications related to Government Contracting.
  • Complete key USG deliverables such as Forward Pricing Rate Proposals and Incurred Cost Submissions.
  • Ensure policies and procedures comply with DFARS and Cost Accounting Standards, with sufficient controls in place.
  • Coordinate with the Government Compliance Manager to meet internal compliance requirements.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree required;
      Master's in Business or Accounting and CPA highly desirable.
    • 5-7 years of progressive experience in Aerospace and Defense Industry with strong Government Contracting background.
    • Proficiency in Windows environment, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • High integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented mindset.
    • Leadership skills in team building and people development.
