Salary: Dependant on experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join our team supporting our client-side payroll service offering. The role will suit someone with payroll experience or someone looking to get into the payroll industry with a view to building a career in payroll. This is a fast-paced role managing the end-to-end payroll of multiple client payrolls. You will be working alongside the wider payroll team at CE Global Partners providing support to team members where required.

This is a full-time position although part-time hours would be considered.

Job Purpose:
  • To manage payroll inbox and respond to queries from HR, Managers, Employees, Third Party Suppliers.
  • Prepare payroll imports and changes on time and upload them to the payroll system/third party vendor.
  • To review payroll data including manual checks, NMW compliance, and prepare sign-off reports.
  • Prepare and upload third-party reports.
  • To ensure payroll compliance.
  • To complete annual payroll tasks including year-end processing, P11D submissions, and PSA reporting.
  • Generate reports as required.
  • Recognise and suggest ideas for clients in ways that can help support their staff or business where appropriate.
Any of the following knowledge would be advantageous:
  • Understand and complete manual payroll calculations.
  • Payroll regulations including ITEPTA regulations, WTR, and AWR.
  • Data Protection, NMW.
  • Knowledge of and calculations of statutory payments.
  • Understand and administer employee benefits and expenses.
  • Understanding of termination and redundancy payments along with effective management of earnings for NI and Tax purposes.
  • Understanding of pension schemes including salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Understanding of Directors NI.
  • Understanding of SIP schemes and LTIPs.
You will require the following skills:
  • Strong mathematics skills and the ability to carry out manual payroll calculations.
  • Ability to run manual payroll calculations to include tax, NIC, student loans, and pension deductions.
  • Ability to process payroll from end to end including year-end procedures.
  • Ability to use Excel including use of formulas including v look-ups and pivot tables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Great at relationship building.
