Senior Claims Examiner (General Liability)
Location: New Haven County, CT
Salary: $85,000.00–$
Employment type: Full-time
Seniority level: Mid-Senior level
Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of moderate to high‑severity General Liability claims.
- Conduct thorough investigations, analyze coverage, determine liability, and establish appropriate reserves.
- Collaborate with defense counsel on litigation strategy and settlement negotiations.
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
- 5+ years of GL claims handling experience.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial liability policies, litigation management, and coverage analysis.
- Proven ability to handle complex claims from inception through resolution.
- Ability to travel to the Connecticut office three times a week; may travel to office on a monthly basis.
