CNC Laser Operator

We’re looking for experienced Laser Operators to join our team and help us keep production running smoothly. • Set up and operate Trumpf CNC laser cutting machines.
• Work from engineering drawings, CAD files, and job sheets to produce accurate parts.
• Select the right materials and cutting parameters for each job.
• Carry out routine maintenance and help troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Work closely with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Take part in continuous improvement and help maintain a clean, organised workspace.
• Initially working day shift whilst in training, then will move to shift working (6-2 and/or 2-10).

• Proven experience operating Trumpf CNC laser machines.
• Good understanding of laser cutting processes and steel materials.
• Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD layouts.
• Experience with Trumpf software is a big plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands‑on approach.
• Basic mechanical skills for day‑to‑day maintenance.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
