Semi Senior Accountant

UCS Accountancy Services Limited is growing, and we’re looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join our expanding team and play a key role in supporting our cloud-based client portfolio.

As a Semi Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Bookkeeping for a portfolio of cloud‑based clients
• Preparing VAT returns and supporting MTD compliance
• Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts for smaller companies
• Supporting senior team members with client queries and accounts work
• Over time, taking ownership of a small client portfolio

This role will suit someone who is keen to learn, grow, and gradually take on more responsibility.

We’re ideally looking for someone who:

• Has practice experience or relevant accounting exposure
• Has strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Communicates clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues
• Is studying towards (or planning to study towards) a professional qualification such as ACCA
