• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping requirements for a varied portfolio of clients using Xero and Quick Books.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with Making Tax Digital requirements while identifying and advising on complex VAT issues.
• Support clients through system improvements, training, and smooth transitions onto cloud-based accounting platforms.
• Prepare comprehensive bookkeeping records through to trial balance alongside bank, control account, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Possess at least 4 years of UK accountancy practice experience within a dedicated bookkeeping role.
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of cloud accounting software, specifically Xero and Quick Books, with Xero certification highly desirable.
• Bring an excellent understanding of VAT legislation and Making Tax Digital compliance.
• Hold strong Microsoft Excel skills combined with high attention to detail and strong organisational capabilities to manage multiple deadlines.
