Sabbatical cover - GP

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, well-established GMS practice as a salaried GP to provide Sabbatical cover for 6 months from 9 March 2026
. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and committed GP to join our dedicated team.

Indemnity paid by the practice

6 weeks annual leave (pro rata) + 1 week study leave(pro rata)

Free onsite parking

Systm One clinical system

Collaborative working with 3 neighbouring practices as part of an active and supportive PCN

Team: 1 full-time GP partner, 2 part-time GP partners, 2 full-time salaried GPs, 2 part-time salaried GPs, 2 part-time practice nurses, and 1 full-time healthcare assistant

We are looking for proactive and forward-thinking GP focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse patient population

Consistently high QOF achievers, offering a wide range of enhanced services

Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and video consultations

Perform physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and procedures

Maintain accurate medical records

Advise patients on lifestyle changes to improve health outcomes

Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies

Explain test results and medical procedures to patients

Collaborate with colleagues regarding specialised patient needs

Share Bullsmoor Lodge care home visits and duty doctor responsibilities shall be shared equally among the partners and existing salaried GPs on a pro-rata basis

Surgery hours are 8am 6:45pm, Monday to Friday.

Our premises are purpose-built and well-equipped, providing a supportive, friendly working environment with a strong administrative team. We use the Systm One clinical system and work closely with neighbouring practices within an active Primary Care Network.

Monday: AM and PM sessions

Tuesday: AM and PM sessions

Wednesday: AM and PM sessions

Thursday: AM and PM sessions
