Job Description:

We are looking for a committed and skilled Secondary School Maths Teacher to join ourclientsteamin ROCHDALE . The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach GCSE Mathematics to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum. Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE examinations, ensuring strong progress for all learners. Assess, track, and record student achievement using school systems. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of high-achievers, SEN students, and thoserequiringadditionalsupport. Maintain high expectations of behaviour, creating a respectful and positive classroom environment.

Use a range of teaching methods and digital tools to support learning and raise attainment. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students reach their potential. Attend departmental and whole-school meetings, training, and professional development sessions. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues about student progress. Contribute to the wider maths department through curriculum development and resource sharing.

Qualifications & Skills Bachelors degree in Mathematicsor a related subject. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong understanding of the secondary maths curriculum and GCSE assessment requirements. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students. Strong organisational and planning abilities.
