Who the work supportsBe responsible for a class in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons that engage and inspire pupils. Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities, including SEN and EAL pupils.
Learning support involvedCreating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils. Using assessment effectively to monitor pupil progress and inform lesson planning. Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development alongside academic progress.
What helps in this education settingDemonstrates excellent classroom management and consistently applies positive behaviour strategies.
Education skills and requirements- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (ECTs welcome).
- MPS1–MPS6 (Inner London) – depending on experience.
- Full-Time, Permanent / Long-Term.
- Competitive Inner London pay scale.
- SEN experience
